Color

Color nodes will help you to modify the color of your stamps. To do so, Odyssey requires specific structures to manage colors models, which are named “Odyssey Color Structure”.

Odyssey Color is a very specific variable offered by Odyssey. It has the advantage to offer you many more ways to change the nuance of a color using various models such as HSL, HSV, CMYK and Lab, in addition of the traditional RGB.

In Odyssey, the panels Color Wheel and Color Sliders send “Odyssey Color Structure” data type.

The only disadvantage of Odyssey Color is the fact it can neither be used as an exposed variable nor embedded with a brush. If you need a color to be embedded with your brush (and expose this color to be easily edited), you will have to use Linear Color variables.
