Stand-alone License¶
Before proceeding with the installations, there are 3 mandatory steps:
You created a User Account
You bought a license (or you have been granted one by your school, if you are a student)
You installed the Praxinos Launcher
Activate Odyssey¶
Go back to the User Account and copy the license key in the category “Your downloads”, tab “Licenses”.

Then, go to the Praxinos Launcher, into the tab “Licenses” and paste your ticket number here:

Click on “Check”, then on “Activate”.

Your license is rehostable, so if you need to install Odyssey on another seat, you will have to Deactivate first from the old seat.

Note
The activation requires an access to the Internet.
Download & Install Odyssey¶
Click on the tab “Downloads” and click on Odyssey to download it.

Once the bar is green, click again to start the installation.
Choose the language.

Confirm the setup.

Read and accept the EULA.

Choose Components (no need to tick Codemeter if you have already installed it with the Launcher).

Choose the folder to install Odyssey.

Wait for the installation. The package is 12gb, so be patient if you have a slow connection.

Odyssey is installed, you can either run it from the Desktop or from the Launcher.

Once the activation is complete, you can launch Odyssey, either from the Launcher or from your Desktop.
License is about to expire¶
Don’t forget to open the Launcher at least once every month, while being connected to the Internet. If you get a message telling you your license has almost expired, it means you must either start the Launcher or extend your subscription. In that situation, please contact us.

Note
The expiration date is not related to the duration of your subscription.
Managing your license¶
License not found¶
As explained above, your license is rehostable, but you need to deactivate your license first before activating on another computer.
If you do not deactivate your license first and try to use the same ticket twice, you will be displayed this message in orange:

The sheet underneath will provide more information regarding the computer currently using the ticket, so you can identify it.
Display licenses¶
You may have been using and activating several licenses (Beta, demo, release…) on the local machine. This information can be found right here.

The button “Check Online” in the Expiration column will send you to your User Account, on Praxinos website.
Click on “Display old licenses” to see the complete list.
