# Installation This section describes how to install ILIAD on your computer. ILIAD is available for both MacOS and Windows. ILIAD is available for Unreal Engine 4 starting from version 4.23. ## Prerequisite Install [Unreal Engine](https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/), version 4.23 is the minimum but we recommend using the latest available version. Praxinos strives to deliver new ILIAD versions for each new UnrealEngine version. ## Step-by-step #### 1. Go to the marketplace and sign-in or create an account. [Download ILIAD from the marketplace](https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/iliad-intelligent-layered-imaging-architecture-for-drawing-beta-version). You may be required to sign-in before being able to go any further:  ----------------- #### 2. Download the plugin. Now that you're signed-in, you can click on download link:  ----------------- #### 3. Accept redirection. It is possible that a prompt window asks you wether you want to open the link with the Epic Games Launcher, agree and proceed:  ----------------- #### 4. Open the link inside the Epic Games launcher. The same link is opened, this time within the EpicGame launcher:  ----------------- #### 5. Install the plugin. You can click on install and select the engine version for which you want to use the plugin with:  ----------------- #### 6. Wait for download and installation. Proceed and wait for the plugin to actually download and install itself within the engine version you picked. This usually takes a few seconds to a few minutes:  ----------------- #### 7. Check the installation. You can check the "Library" tab in the Epic Games launcher to make sure ILIAD is available in your Vault:  ----------------- #### 8. Start a project. You can now start Unreal Engine and either launch an existing project or start a new one:  It doesn't matter which project template you chose, it doesn't matter either wether you chose a Blueprint project or a C++ project ( here i chose a blueprint project ):  ----------------- #### 9. Fresh project. Now we're almost there, and you should have a regular UnrealEngine project open:  ----------------- #### 10. Look for plugins tab. It is possible that the engine is aware a new plugin is available and prompts you to manage plugins in the bottom-right corner, if so, click on "Manage Plugins":  If not, click on `Edit . Plugins`:  ----------------- #### 11. Find ILIAD in plugins tab. Go to the menu Edit > Plugins. This will open the plugins tab, where you can find the installed plugins sorted by category. You can search for ILIAD in the input search box. Click on the "Enable" check box to enable the plugin.  ----------------- #### 12. Enable Iliad. Enabling the plugin will require you to restart your project in order to load the module.  ----------------- #### 13. Restart the project. Once the project has restarted, ILIAD should be properly loaded and enabled, you can start working with it !
